It took a while for the acting bug to bite Lui, whose sister convinced her to act. She started pursuing a career in acting relatively late, in 1994; but since then she has worked consistently and is a favorite among independent filmmakers due to her intense performances and congenial attitude. She has worked with such directors as Mike de Leon, Raya Martin, Lav Diaz, and Jose Javier Reyes.

Randy started acting in 1982 and since then has appeared in many films and TV programs. Notable appearances include Paolo Villaluna’s Selda (2007) and Raymond Red’s Cannes award-winning film Anino (2000).

Paulken started acting at the age of eight, and his natural charisma has landed him many television roles. He was nominated for a Star Award for Best Child Performance in the film Paraiso (“Ang Kapatid Kong si Elvis” episode), also directed by Joel Ruiz.

Sigrid has appeared in numerous theater productions and TV shows. She is also a film director; her short film Babae (Woman) has been screened in over 20 festivals around the world
