We’ve come a long way

When Arkeo started it used to be a âDonât forget your keyâ zone. Dahil pihado pag walang tao di ka na makakapasok. Masaya na ang opisina dati if you see one person in a day. May mga panahon din na nakakalimot kami magbayad ng kuryente kaya namuhay rin kami sa dilim at some point. In other words, malungkot, walang nangyayari, dahil walang gustong pumasok. Hindi exciting.
But weâve come a long way. Naks. The Arkeo that was then comprised of 3 is now a small and growing family. Mistulang isang cocktail party ang mga nagmimeeting sa dami ng tao. Para rin siyang bahay ampunan sa dami ng taong nakakatulog sa isang maliit na editing room. Pwede pala matulog ang limang tao sa 9 square meters, may katabi pang mga computer at tables. In short, hindi na kami mag kasya! Itâs now time to move to a bigger place.
Time to leave the office that housed us for 5 years. Weâll miss this place we once thought of as huge. It is the home of our first movies. What we wonât miss though are the shady characters across the hall and the scent of nilulutong bagoong wafting through the air so perfectly timed when clients come in. And most of all we wonât miss the side mirror thieves across the street.
On our 8th year anniversary weâre moving into our 4th new and improved office. Woohoo! Itâs pretty exciting and a little bit scary. But I say, bring it on. Happy anniversary and happy new office to us. J
