Unit 3-G

Bong and Lisa Lomanta are our newest happy tenants. This delightful young couple has been enjoying their stay with us, with Lisa spending all of her days inside their unit, and Bong enjoying his job as a guidance counselor. Recently tasked by Mrs. Nora, Genevieve’s lovely owner and president, to help in solving the mystery of the unidentified fetus, Bong is certainly displaying remarkable amateur sleuthing skills and spends most of his nights meeting and interviewing the rest of the tenants.

Jojit Lorenzo has performed with many of the country’s notable stage groups such as CCP’s Tanghalang Pilipino and the Gantimpala Theater Foundation when he joined the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). Jojit is also an accomplished professional photographer and graphic designer.

Katherine Luna’s breakthrough performance in Babae sa Breakwater (Woman of Breakwater) (Mario O’Hara, 2004) earned her unanimous praise from the country’s critics and a Best Actress award from the Cinemanila International Film Festival.

Unit 4-A

Occupying our penthouse unit is none other than the first family of Genevieve Homes, the De Guzman Family.

No one embodies the definition of a busybody than the lovely Nora de Guzman. Apart of being owner of the complex and president of the Genevieve Homeowners Association (GHA), Mrs. Nora also spends her free time creating the perfect home for her darling husband Mr. Noel, and their 14-year old son Ike.

Ms. Ces Quesada is a popular comedienne, TV host and versatile actress. She has worked with the country’s top directors and actors such as Tikoy Aguiluz, Rory B. Quintos, and Dolphy, and hosted alongside comic trio Tito, Vic and Joey in the country’s longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga!. In early 2008 she appeared in the digital film drama, Ploning with superstar Judy Ann Santos.

Mr. Noel is a man with many interests and spends his time on business meetings and conferences outside of the home–with so many entrepreneurial pursuits, it’s a wonder he still has time to see his lovely wife and son!

Mark Gil is without a doubt one of the country’s most talented and seasoned dramatic actors. His first URIAN award came in 1982 for the movie Palipat-lipat, Papalit-palit as Best Supporting Actor. In the same year, he was nominated for the URIAN’s Best Actor for his most memorable role as Sid Lucero in the internationally-acclaimed Batch ’81 by Mike De Leon. Baby Angelo is Mr. Gil’s 2nd Cinemalaya full length feature after Rotonda, which earned him his URIAN for Best Actor in 2007.

Demonstrating an ear for music, Ike loves to spend his afternoons with the other gentlemen in Genevieve, strumming his beloved guitar and perfecting the adolescent art of angst.

Newcomer Cedrick Lamberte’s onscreen debut was as Denggoy in Cinemalaya 2005’s Best Feature Film Pepot Artista by award-winning screenwriter Clodualdo del Mundo.

Unit 1-F

The ladies of Unit 1-F, whose ages range from the late teens to the late 20s, are believed to be call center agents, and are often spotted coming home in the early hours of the morning. Over the years many of them have come and gone, and remarkably only one of them has stayed for more than a year–Apple, a darling woman with soft eyes and an even softer touch, also believed to pursue a profession that takes up most of her evenings.

A freelance stage actor, Diana Malahay has appeared in a number of plays with Dulaang Laboratoryo, Dulaang U.P. and Tangahalang Pilipino, notably in Betti’s The Queen and the Rebels, and F. Sionil Jose’s Mass. Diana’s first film role was in 2007’s Tukso by Dennis Marasigan.

Aside from acting, Lara Tarranco also teaches street dancing and theater acting to children. Identical twins KC and Bebs Hollman are also commercial models. Rapunzel Hernandez is also a commercial model, whose film debut was in Sigfried-Barros Sanchez’ Lasponggols (2005).

Unit 2-B

As Genevieve Homes’ oldest tenant, Mr. Hermenigildo Chiu is the resident gardener and tends to the santan bushes flanking the GHA garden. In fact, no Genevieve morning is complete without Mr. Chiu toting his trusty dustpan and broom and sweeping the entire complex clean!

Dante Balois is a veteran stage actor and one of the earliest members of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). He has also appeared in a number of films in support roles, particularly in Lino Brocka’s Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang (1974) and in Marilou Diaz Abaya’s Bagong Buwan (2001) - a career spanning more than 30 years.

Unit 2-H

Meet the local heart-throbs of Genevieve! Luis “MD” Tupaz is enjoying a steady job as a call center agent, but ever the shrewd entrepreneur, he’s con-stantly thinking of new and daring business ventures! With him is his younger brother Raymundo “Raven” Tupaz, a softer gentleman with a more refined palate–a dashing dresser and naturally charming to those around him!

Archie Alemania first caught the public’s eye when he appeared mainstay in the not-so-serious hit news show, Wazzup Wazzup. Since then Archie has been seen in many TV shows as actor and host, known for his side-splitting humor and funky dance moves. But it was his performance in the digital film Sa Aking Pagkagising Mula sa Kamulatan which showed, to everyone’s surprise, that Archie can do drama as seriously as he can hit a punch line.

One of the country’s most promising young actors today, Alchris Galura received two acting trophies for his leading performance in the 2006 film, Batad: Sa Paang Palay. Not bad for this 18-year-old muay thai kickboxer, who has already appeared in 11 notable films from prominent directors such as Jeffrey Jeturian and Mario O’Hara.
